On Wednesday we took a field trip to the Asian Cultures Museum in Corpus Christi, TX. It is full of wonderful things from all the Asian countries. It is fun to watch Malcolm find things from Korea and be excited about his heritage.
Malcolm was drawn to the crazy Japanese masks. There are several that could help us create some great stories. Funny and Scary.
Of course, when I see embroidery, I am all over it. This kimono was beautiful! There were also some amazing portraits done in embroidery.
Malcolm was working hard on using chopsticks and was really getting the hang of it. No more cheaters for him!
