One of the beauties of homeschooling is that we can learn things everywhere and anywhere. We took a little field trip to the South Texas Botanical Garden today. When we got there the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. Lots of butterflies had just left their chrysalides (yes, I had to look that word up) and were sunning themselves on flowers all around. About an hour later it was pouring rain and we were running to the car. We had just enough time to get some photos!
